Allie and Sam's present opening technics

Christmas 2009

Can you believe that I'm blogging again? Only cuz

Allie made me do it. She was bored, so I told her that I would just for her. She also put all of my pictures in folders for me. She's amazing and I am soooooo not, when it comes to technology! These are some of the pictures we and she took while they were here for Christmas. It was a great time and I loved seeing all my kids - one, (Amy) around the holidays. This post is kind of short, but will get better with time and Allie's tutelage.

Happy Holidays to you all!

My Holidays started out with a surprize visit from Sara's family for Thanksgiving. We all went to my friend Kim's house. She had her kids and us. It was a houseful, but we had a great time and the food was great! We did the traditional, go to the movies, over the Holidays and saw two really good ones. "Inchanted" and "August Rush" Loved them both and of course my favorite, "Dan in Real Life" I've seen that three times now. While Sara was here, they helped me put up my Christmas. I hate doing that job alone, it is too depressing, but they made it fun and it looks great. Also while they were here, they talked me into getting a kitten. I'm not a cat person, but in a weak moment I gave in and took it home. He is so cute and I named him "Dexter" but Alivia fell totally in love with him in the two days that he was at my house and he went home with her, so I was a cat owner for just two days and that's okay because kittens do grow up to be cats and cats aren't my favorite. For Christmas, I'm going to go to Angie's and then Tyler's will either go to her house after, or I will drive down there, so I will see two of my kids and their kids. Have a great Holiday to all who read this. I love you all and am so greatful to my Heavenly Father for good family, good friends, and true church.

More about the sniper

This fall I have been working for the Gilberts helping with their light parks. They have a new one going up at the "Hogle Zoo" over Christmas. You'll have to go and see it at night. I did some of the pieces there. I even got to get in the bucket truck and see what it was like. That's not my job, but I liked it, because I am a sniper at heart.

Old snipers can blog too!

My daughter-in-law decided that I needed to get blogging in my retirement years, so here's a shot ( no pun intended ) at it. This last week I went to Parawon to see my two grandson's in their school musical "Grease" It was so cute and so were they. Jaxon even had a kissing part and seemed to enjoy it. (I'm pretty sure that it wasn't his first, though ) Spencer had an offer, by a girl, to have a make-out part, but he didn't want anything to do with it. Thomas could have been either one of their "understudies" , but it hasn't happened, yet! Here are some of the pictures that I took while I was there. I got to ride down with my good friend and other Grandma, Julie, and it was fun getting caught up on each others lives. Fun, fun, trip!!!!
